Krishna Paksha Chaturthi is dedicated to Lord Ganesha and devotees observe Sankashti Chaturthi fasting on each Krishna Paksha Chaturthi. Sakat Chauth is dedicated to Goddess Sakat and women observe fasting on the very same day for the well-being of their sons.
