Ahoi Ashtami~

Why one is kept the fast of Ahoi Ashtami

Once upon a time it was a moneylender. She had seven sons and one daughter. The moneylender wanted to be free from his responsibilities, so he got married to his seven sons and a daughter, now there were seven daughter-in-law along with seven sons in his house.

Sahukar's daughter had come to his mother-in-law at the time of Diwali, now because the house was to be levied on Diwali, so all the folk went to take the soil from the forest. Seeing this, the daughter-in-law of his mother-in-law, the daughter-in-law, also walked with her in-laws. At the place where the moneylender's daughter was cutting the soil, Saiyahu (Sahi) used to accompany his son with his life. A child of Saiyu died due to a bribe of a daughter-in-law of a moneylender by accidentally cutting soil. Being angry at this, Sahehu said that I will bind your womb.

The daughter of the moneylender became alarmed by hearing Sahehu's words and started pleading with one of his seven Sister-in-law, that he should take his womb in exchange for him. The youngest sister-in-law is ready to bribe her hip instead of a nunad. After this, every child of a small sister-in-law, after seven days, died after seven days, after the death of seven sons, he summoned the Pandit and asked for the reason. The Pandit advised him to serve Surai Cow.

Surayi is happy with her service and seeing a lot of hard work and service bhav, she asks the daughter-in-law that she is doing so much service and what does she want from her? Whatever your wish is, I will definitely fulfill my request. The moneylender's daughter-in-law said that Saiyu mother has tied my womb, so my children do not survive and die in the womb. If you open my womb, I will thank you for life. The cow mother took her along and took her along to seven mothers to the mother-in-law.

Tired of the way, they stop staying in the middle and rest for a while. Suddenly, the banker's younger daughter-in-law looks at one place, she sees that a snake is going to sculpt an eagle wings and she immediately kills the snake. Garuda feathers also come in there and seeing the scattered blood lying in front of them, she feels that the younger Bahu has killed her child, on this she starts beating the younger daughter-in-law. The younger daughter-in-law says that she has saved her child's life. Upon hearing this, Garuda Pankhani is very happy and with Surhi, he brings them to Saihu.

Even there, the younger daughter-in-law does a lot of Shihu's service. Being blessed with the service of the younger daughter-in-law, blesses him with his seven sons and seven daughters-in-law. Saiyahu gives the blessings to the younger son and seven sons and seven sons. And she says that when you go home, you remember Ahoi Mata. Make seven seven eighths and make seven columns. When he returned home, his seven sons and seven daughter-in-law, daughter found present there. He became very happy with happiness. He made the seven Ahois and gave them a seven-sided yarn.

Ahois also mean that one is also 'to become unholy.' Like the smallest daughter of a moneylender had done. As the mother of Ahohi opened the womb of the moneylenders, in the same way all the women who perform this fast receive child happiness.
