Rangwali Holi (Dhulendi) ~धुलेंडी in 2022 will be observed on 18th March 2022 The main day, Holi, also known as Dhuli in Sanskrit, or Dhulheti, Dhulandi or Dhulendi, is celebrated by people throwing scented powder and perfume at each other. Dhulendi\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s celebration is also having its medical reasons. It is time weather change and in a change of season there are many possibilities of diseases; so people are avoiding those diseases by applying medicine colors on each other like Turmeric, Neem, Kum-Kum, Kesar and Bilva. Thus, these medicine natural and herbal colors are protecting our body for various diseases. Dhuledi is a favorite festival of all age groups and specially, between friends, husband-wife, dever (husband\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s brother) - bhabhi (brother\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s wife) are enjoying the most. On these days, everyone is trying to find out some special trick to color another person and after applying the colors people say, “Bura naa mano Holi hai”. The sons, daughter in-laws and kids are applying abeer-gulaal on the feet of the senior family members and then by touching their feet getting blessings from them. Dhulendi is celebrating differently in different parts of India. On this occasion many regional songs, musical plays, and dances are performed. After playing colors in day time, at night people are meeting each other and exchanging greetings. Special sweet Gujhia is prepared in the North Indian region. Mathura, Varanasi, and Barsana are famous places and have their own special type of holi. In Mathura, young boys are breaking Curd Pichers hanging on a height, placed by young girls. Vrindavan is the sacred place of Lord Krishan. The Barsana\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Dandiya (bamboo) Holi is famous. On this day in Barsana, ladies are beating gents with the bamboo sticks and hiding their faces by veil; and gents are saving themselves by the shield. The whole country (India) is colored in the color of friendship and love. It is the biggest festival which is celebrated by all religions.
मुख्य दिवस होली संस्कृत में धुली एवं धुल्हेटी, धुलंडी, धुलेंड़ी के नाम से भी जानी जाती है। धुलेंडी लोगो दवारा एक दूसरे के ऊपर गुलाल इत्र और रंग डालकर ख़ुशी मानाने का त्यौहार है। धुलेंडी उत्सव मानव जीवन के शारीरिक वैज्ञानिक महत्व भी है। यह समय मौसम में बदलाव का होता है और ऋतू परिवर्तन की वजह से इस मौसम में बीमारियों के होने की संभावनाएं रहते है। अतः लोगो द्वारा इन बीमारियों से बचने के लिए एक दूसरे पर आयुर्वैदिक दवा वाले हल्दी, नीम, कुम कुम, केसर और बिल्व आदि आयुर्वैदिक रंग लगते है। जिसके कारण ये आयुर्वैदिक और हर्बल रंग हमारे शरीर को विभिन्न बीमारियों से बचाते है। धुलेंडी प्रत्येक आयुवर्ग का प्रिय पर्व है और विशेषतः मित्रो, पति पत्नी, देवर(पति का भाई) भाभी(भाई की पत्नी) इस पर्व का बहुत आनंद लेते है। इस दिन हर कोई दूसरे को रंग लगाने की विशेष युक्ति खोजता पाया जाता है और रंग लगाने के बाद लोग बोलते है "बुरा न मानो होली है"। बेटे-बहु, दामाद-बेटी और बच्चे परिवार के बड़े बुजुर्गो के चरणों पर अबीर गुलाल लगाते है और फिर उनके चरणों को छूकर बुजुर्गो से मंगल आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करते है। भारत के विभिन्न भागो में धुलेंडी भिन्न भिन्न तरीको से मनाई जाती है। इस दिन विभिन्न क्षेत्रीय भजन, गीत संगीतिक खेल और नृत्य किये जाते है। दिन भर रंगो से खेलने के बाद रात्रि में लोग एक दूसरे से मिलकर बधाई एवं मंगल कामनाएं देते है। उत्तर भारत में गुंजिया नमक विशेष मिठाई इस दिन बनायीं जाती है। मथुरा, वाराणसी, और बरसाना प्रसिद्द स्थान है और यहाँ की विशेष होली भी प्रसिद्द है। मथुरा में युवा लड़के दही हांड़ी जो वहाँ की लड़कियों द्वारा ऊंचाई पर टांगी होती है को तोड़ते है। वृंदावन श्री कृष्णा का धार्मिक स्थल है बरसाने की डांडिया होली भी प्रसिद्द है। इस दिन बरसाने की महिलाये बांसो डांडियों से होली खेलती है और पुरुषो को बांसो डांडियों से पीटती है और अपने आपको आवरण से ढकती है। और पुरुष अपने आपको ढाल से बचाते है। पूरा भारत देश इस दिन मित्रता और प्यार के रंगो में रंग जाता है। यह बहुत बड़ा पर्व है जो सभी धर्मो द्वारा मनाया जाता है।
