Precautions for Pregnant Ladies
  • They should not practice any pranayam which involves retention of breath
  • They should not do Kapalbhati
  • If They suffer from asthma, heart disease or shortness of breath or any other complication, you will need to check with your doctor before you begin Pranayama
  • They should Avoid jerky violent breathing - keep it slow, smooth and steady. Do only the specified number of repetitions that are right for your stage. 
  • They should not do Mool bandha
  • They should not do Uddiyan bandha
  • They should not do Maha bandha
  • They should not do Bhastrika Chest Pranayama
  • They should not do Bhastrika Abdomen Pranayama
